[Jonathan Rogers letters]. 1929-1937.

Two handwritten letters from portrait Peter A. Hay of 5A, Clareville Grove, Kensington, S.W. 7 [London] to Mr. Jonathan Rogers of Vancouver, BC. The first is dated the 6th of December, 1929 and the second dated the 17th of June, 1937. The 1929 letter does not have an envelope; the 1937 letter has an envelope on which is written (post-delivery) the following: "Mr. Hay Portrait Painter who painted our portraits which were hung in the Royal Academy." In addition there is an envelope from the Empress Hotel of Victoria, BC on which is written the following: "Letter from Mr Hay who painted our portraits which were hung in the Royal Academy 1930?_(or 1929).
